Overview
About Me
I'm 22 years old, and graduating from college in May, with a degree in biology and social justice. I'm planning on my first solo trip through Europe this fall before returning to grad school (hopefully! haha).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I never studied abroad in college, and it was my biggest regret. I want to immerse myself with people and challenge myself culturally. I also want to see amazing things and meet amazing people!
Interests
Philosophy. I see life as short and truly an experience itself. For me, I find the people in the areas I visit to be the BEST part of the trip in general. I love conversation with new people. People are vessels of so much knowledge-every person on this planet knows something you don't!
Film. On this trip I'm planning on bringing a gopro and filming much of this journey. I think film is beautiful and a wonderful way to relive some memories.
Social Justice. I've lead a few programs at my school that are immersion-learning programs in Mexico that teach students about poverty and the problems occurring in different areas. I love discussing social justice and am going back to school to study it as a graduate student.

Movies- I LOVE documentaries. I've watched too many to count haha. probably one of my favorites is "jiro dreams of sushi"
Books- I find david sedaris hilarious, and love gillian flynn as well. I'm fond of poetry, especially works by Mary Oliver and Billy Collins.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Wonderful and stimulating conversation, as well as a home cooked meal if you let me :). People call me passionate--and I promise I am. I love talking with people about the things I love and I adore learning new things from others. I definitely am in this experience to learn from my hosts, and see the amazing place they live in through their eyes.
(and of course I'll bring gift from my hometown :) ! Something I personally love. )
