My name is Marguerite and I grew up on the East Coast of the United States (where I got my sass and energy) and currently live in Arlington, Texas. I travel for work (I am so lucky!) and for pleasure, so I am gone from my home every other month. In 2023 I visited 20 states in the United States!

I'm an ambitious, extremely extroverted and very positive young woman/old soul. I studied theater in middle/high school, and studied ecology in college because I love finding the logic and science behind nature. Today, I work in the energy utilities space (electricity, water, gas). OH, and I love to dance!!

Connecting with new friends has always been a passion of mine. I previously lived with 10 roommates, and I loved it! I think that community, authenticity, mutual respect, openness, and diversity are very important concepts to practice in your home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed for the first time in June 2015 in Belgium, urged by my friends to try it out, and was amazed by my experience.

I want to spread good vibes and cultural knowledge! I hope we can share tea at your table and muse about the human condition.

Interests

I believe that my greatest skill is in communication and reading other humans. I am empathetic and love to have real conversations with people about real feelings and problems. I also love to explore, hike, write, listen to jazz and/or hip hop and swim.
