Hi there! My name is Maggie, 25, and I’m currently travelling through Australia. I deeply care about people, animals and nature. I like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking for friends and family and experimenting with new recipes. I have a great passion for all veggies and fruit and love to go on long runs which I’m finding very meditative lately. I'm looking forward to meeting new people through couchsurfing who share same interests!

Why looking for accommodation in hostels/hotels when there are plenty of lovely people around who have spare beds and couches and are welcoming of their space to others? Camping gets tricky sometimes when in a populated area/ town/city or when the weather is bad. On those occasions I’m in need for some homey coziness - and, of course, company is always nice to have.

MUSIC: I enjoy any kind of music. I mostly listen to Indie folk, reggea and r'n'b.
MOVIES: I recently watched a really good movie called "Ladybird". Very sweet, simple and authentic. Harry Potter 1-7.2 never disappoints.
BOOKS: I'm currently reading an introductory book on yoga practice because I'm interested in learning more about it and improve my practice. A great read is “Moon Palace” by Paul Auster. A brilliant story about a man who struggles to fit in and whose genius mind led him to question everything about life.
