My name is Maggie, and I come from a small village in the north-west of England. I study French and Russian languages and literature at university in Oxford. I travel whenever I can, and I like to make friends wherever I go :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I used to host when I lived at home in Cumbria - but unfortunately I can't do this now I'm at university.

I've couchsurfed four times in France and met the most incredible, lovely people each time! We have always had a great time together, and it's been good to practise speaking other languages, too.

My favourite writer is Dostoevsky, but I love all kinds of literature, especially Russian books.

I've snowmobiled on the largest lake in the world, and explored a Buddhist cemetery on the top of a mountain in the middle of a typhoon.

I can teach you things about languages? Or some martial arts skills if you prefer! And I can draw a picture of you too, though I can't promise it will be very good...
