Overview
About Me
I graduated from college last May with a degree in flute performance. During my last two years of school, I worked two jobs and saved everything I could so that I could travel after graduation. I'm currently in Chiang Mai, Thailand and am headed to Vancouver in July! I love cycling (especially up mountains) and bring my bike everywhere with me. I've been vegan for two years and I'm passionate about healthy lifestyle and eating. I LOVE all animals and enjoy outdoor activities like cycling and hiking. I don't drink or do drugs but I don't look down on those who do :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently travelling the world and want to experience what my destinations are really like rather than what they are to tourists. I want to meet locals and really experience new places and new cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
Since I was a music major in college I am pretty open to all kinds of music! I'm not a hardcore fan of anything in particular.
I don't watch many movies or TV, but I love to read YA fantasy which I'm only a little embarrassed by.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I cycled to the top of Mon Chaem, a pretty big mountain in Thailand at 1,400 meters of elevation.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have my old student flute with me and still like to play for fun - since I majored in flute in college, I'm all right at it. I can also play a little piano and in general know a lot about music theory and history. I've been cycling for about a year and a half and I'm getting better at it every day, so I'd love to go for a ride with you! We can smash some Strava segments together. I'm also really good at making origami frogs.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a pretty good cook of vegan food and would love to make you a meal. I can also tune up your bike if you haven't ridden it in a while.
