Hi there! My name is Maggie, and I’m from North Carolina. I am a redheaded gal who likes to work outside and generally be merry. I am looking to find a place to stay while I’m traveling to visit friends throughout the west coast. I’m hopping from southern California to the Pacific Northwest, and I’m looking for a place to stay, meet other young people, and make a community for a short while. I love living in large communities of people that share resources. I have lived in cooperatives and group houses for the past 4 years and love the idea of couch surfing.

My partner, David, and I are visiting Seattle this February and are interested in couch surfing while we travel and visit friends! We're currently living in Durham, North Carolina, but have been wanting to visit Seattle for a while. I'm 23 and David is 25 years old, and we're both artists and environmentalists. While in Seattle, David (who is a professional potter) will be apprenticing with a potter and I will be working a big botanical illustration project for fun. We are hoping to hike a lot while in Seattle, do a lot of exploring, and of course, visit with friends.
