I'm born and raised in Toronto. =) I am a foodie, I love travelling, and I like to hike.

I love exploring and trying out new restaurants. I'm pretty open to different ethnic food. I would try most things at least once. =)

One of my favourite trips was Peru. That was also my first solo trip. I met a group of other solo travellers and some of whom I still keep in touch with to this day. It was a really fun trip. We did a one day hike of Machu Picchu, went to the Amazon jungle, tried the local food there, etc. I realized that I really enjoy hiking after my Peru trip and I try to go on a couple of hiking trips every summer in Ontario.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'm new to Couchsurfing! I decided to join after a friend recommended it for travelling as a way to meet other people. When I went on my first solo trip to Peru, I joined Contiki and met a group of other solo travellers, some of whom I still keep in touch with to this day. I met up with one of them in Chicago a couple of years ago when I went to visit one of my friends who moved there. Coincidentally, when I went to Vegas for a bachelorette this past June, one of the other girls I met on my Peru trip happened to be in the same city at the time for a work conference so we met up. I've also tried staying at hostels when I backpacked Portugal and Madrid. I love meeting new people from all around the world. =)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I did a one day hike up Machu Picchu and it took 7 hours to get to the top. It was the best view I've ever seen. Machu Picchu is so beautiful.
