I am a soon to be college graduate with a degree in Communication, Spanish, and Marketing. I am eager to continue to learn Spanish by emerging myself in Spanish speaking cultures. I have learned so much about South America and am planning a trip in May. I have been to Europe and lived in Spain for 4 months with a host mom and it was the best experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to truly put myself in the culture of the places I am visiting. I know that helpful tips and guidance from a host would go a long way. Having someone open their home to let me in would make a huge difference both culturally and financially. I am always there to help cook and clean as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not huge into reading, but I have been reading a few books from Chelsea Handler-a comedian-because her stuff is just hilarious. I like funny movies as well, not a big fan on the sad love ones....sorry. I like to find new music, "pop rising" is my favorite on spotify. Basically pop songs that are yet to be discovered.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the craziest experiences I have had was going to Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. I stayed in a TINY two person tent with a friend in about 30 degree fahrenheit (0 degree Celsius). It was one of the most surreal experiences being surrounded by the German beerfest culture. It was a true blast.

Teach, Learn, Share

Speaking of teaching, I actually did a little while I was living in Spain. I taught some friends of my host mom's kids English. I would do just a few hours a couple days of the week but it was fun and rewarding. They would ask me questions about the United States and I would ask them questions about Spain. It was rewarding for both of us. I am hoping this can be extended into my couchsurfing visits as well. Like I said, I am eager to improve my Spanish, and would be more than happy to teach some English as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be a helping hand with anything you'd like. I can clean, cook, teach, or simply just be s companion for the day. I am very easy going and would love to tell you about all of the travels I have embarked on and future plans as well.
