I'm a college student, just trying to find my way in this massive world. I'm working towards a degree in Music Composition at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania (USA). After I graduate, I plan on continuing onto graduate school to get a Masters degree in Music Therapy, and share my love of music with others to try and make a difference in their lives.

After studying, living in, and experiencing Rome the summer of 2015, I told myself that I'd do everything I could to travel more and live life to the absolute fullest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going to be studying music and living in Ireland this fall semester and while I'm there, I'd love to travel on the weekends and experience the most of the world that I can while I'm there.

I think the best way to truly experience a new city is from the locals! I'd love to hear recommendations on the best restaurants and the tourist traps NOT to fall into. But most of all, I want to share stories, experiences, and learn from people that I never would meet otherwise.

I have so many interests! I love anything musical or artsy. I watch a lot of tv shows and movies. I spend a lot of time researching other cities and places I'd love to travel to.

Music, Movies, and Books

Because I'm studying music, I have the upmost appreciation for all things music. I'm always eager to hear new things and enjoy what other listen to. For me, I mostly listen to: indie/alternative, 60s doo-wop, 80s classic rock, 90s alternative and hip hop, jazz from all eras. If you know of any local concerts or events, I would LOVE to know!

I'm a movie fanatic and am always up for watching a new flick. I absolutely love Dirty Dancing, The Great Gatsby, Pulp Fiction, and anything Disney or Pixar.

Along with movies, I love binge-watching television shows. Lately, I've enjoyed: Parks and Recreation, Scrubs, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Gilmore Girls, Bojack Horseman, and Bob's Burgers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made it this far! With all odds against us, we somehow seem to always make it through.

I've had the amazing opportunities of a solid education, a strong and supportive family, living in Italy, meeting wonderful people, working towards goals, and always pushing forwards.

I hope to learn something/anything from you. Maybe you know where the best underrated coffee shop is, or an underground concert happening, or even just a story from your life. I'm sure I can find things in common with you, but I'd love to learn what makes you different.

I can share my experiences with you. I've only lived a short 20 years and haven't travelled as much as I wish, but I've had some incredible moments and I'd love to share them with you.
