Hi guys! My name is Maggie Wen, 温馨 in Chinese. I am from China, but have experiences at an early age to live and study in Denmark and United States. I am currently doing a Gap semester from college, and I will be a Junior when I return to finish my bachelor's degree in East Asian Studies and Studio Arts. I like to draw and take photos while I am traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Arts and culture fascinates me the most when I travel. I can do all the things related to arts on my own, but for culture. It is so much different if you somebody from the region, and letting them to tell you what its like to live as a local. The best things you do in a travel is not from a travel guide, but from other people's suggestions:))

I am quite good at cooking, and because I have lived in various places growing up I have experience cooking all kinds of food ( both Asian and Western). I love to experiment with local materials as well. So if you are kind enough to invite me to live in your house, I would love to share a delicious dinner/lunch made by me with you!
