Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started couchsurfing (both officially and un) when I came to France to study abroad. The couch surfers that I have met and stayed are really what made my traveling experience incredible - its so amazing to see a place from the eyes of someone who lives there, and who loves living there, and is so excited to show off why they love it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love cooking a meal for my hosts...food is such a great way to share culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

where to start?! I am so lucky, life is just an incredible experience.

1. attempting to dance like a bollywood star, taught by girls from Tessa, Himachal Pradesh, India.
2. watching the arrival of a torrential thunderstorm while kayaking down the green river and paddling like crazy to set up the tent before it hit - Green River, Utah
3. Standing on the Oregon coast, looking out at the sea, down at the waves, and feeling so so small.
4. getting ridiculously lost in the Linville Gorge, hiking practically vertical for 3 miles, and hitchhiking back to the trailhead. hahaaaa.

Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Switzerland
