ABOUT ME

Some more details about me:
I find it very difficult to describe who I am and what I am all about over the internet, but I will do my best. I am from Southern California born and raised in a little beach town called Encinitas. I grew up playing soccer, hitting the beach, riding bikes, taking summer vacations to Montana, Mexico, Costa Rica, and such. I attended college at University of California at Santa Cruz in Northern California and I absolutely love the Bay Area. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling! I am looking to travel as much as possible and meet some wonderful people. Traveling is not the same unless you meet some true genuine locals.
Some more tidbits:
*I also really like to collect little trinkets from different places I have been and make collages, mobiles, dream catchers, and use them when I journal! I would consider myself a creative person!
* I love children, they always make me laugh. I think they are truly magical and I love surrounding myself with them.
*I love heart to heart conversations. I bond with people very easy especially those with big hearts and a good sense of humor. I am a friend for life type of person, and most of my friends from home I have known since I was five.
* I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SOCCER! I have played since I was 5!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

You can travel a country and never get a taste of the true culture if you do not interact with the local people. I am on couch surfing because I have had the best experiences with hosts and love meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences.

Unfortunately, I cannot host anyone due to roommates. I would be happy to meet up for a day or evening out!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed with some amazing hosts in Malaga, Sicily, Paris, and Berlin. I had the best time of my life! Thank you!

I love all kinds of music! Basically anything and everything goes for me.
lately I have been listening to Living Legends, Erykah Badu, Cocorosie, Grizzly Bear, Cat Stevens, Carli Bruni, so many I cannot list them all!

Books: Hunger Games, The Giver, Enrique's Journey, Gone Girl

I really appreciate live music! I wish I could play it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*I went to Fiji and had a conversation with the chief of a tribe on the island of Tavarua for an entire night drinking kava and I have realized that Fijians are some of the most genuine individuals I have ever met.

*Moved to England

*Sky Diving in New Zealand, I had a real fear of heights and I think that has been conquered. ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Here is my philosophy for teaching:
Teach people how to think, not what to think.

I would love to learn all kinds of languages, I am terrible at accents though so mainly I like to listen and write them. I know some basic French and Spanish

I think my best unique skill I could teach others would be about flowers. I have worked at a flower shop since I was 14 so I know a lot! I can even make bouquets for your house!
