-Travel somewhere new once a year, even if it's just 30 minutes away

ABOUT ME

I am enthusiastic, a little naive, an incurably excited and positive morning person. Morgan is the grumpy one. I am GLBTQ (gay/lesbian/bisexual/trans/queer-- spelled out for filtering purposes) friendly. My partner and I are, in fact, GLBTQ. We are old souls and enjoy a long relaxing morning routine, and reading in the evenings. We still know all the good beer bars in town, though we don't visit them very often since we brew our own beer. We love LOVE breakfast. My partner Morgan is Iron Chef Granola (and risotto and cheesecake) and I am Iron Chef Porridge (and biscuits and omelets).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way to meet people and learn about an area from people that live there, which is a very important perspective.

None of us are made of money, and lodging is expensive. This is a solid pay-it-forward strategy for travelers who can host when they return home.
