Overview
About Me
I'm from a small town in Missouri which is probably what has pushed me to travel to learn more about the world! I'm positive, energetic, and always up for an adventure!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As an avid solo traveler I enjoy meeting new friends along the way and exploring places closer from a local's view.
Interests
I like being active and doing anything outdoors. I love dancing though I am not nearly close to good at it. I also used to play volleyball in high school and still love to find a game.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a variety of types of music but I really love Spanish music like reggaetone and bachata.
My friends like to say that it's like I have a little Latina women inside of me just wanting to burst out.
I don't watch too many movies but when I do I choose mainly comedies or action movies. The Fast & Furious series are one of my favorites. Though, my favorite author is Jodi Picoult who writes very intense dramas.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent six weeks teaching English in Barranquilla, Colombia which in the minds of a lot of people was a pretty dangerous endeavor. I think I learned as much about myself as the kids learned of English. Plus, Colombia is a beautiful country and the travel was unbelievable.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Unfortunately I'm not a great cook but I do love baking for people, especially my grandmother's secret banana bread recipe! I have great travel adventure stories of dancing at carnival in Brazil and sleeping on beaches in Colombia.
