ABOUT ME

I'm a free spirit. A rebel. I love meeting new people, particularly someone who can show me something new or remind me of something important. Definitely always up for an adventure- getting lost or jumping in on a spontaneous trip never fails to excite me. Despite experience increasing my cynicism, I still tend to see the best in people. Every day I strive to be a "yes" person.

PHILOSOPHY

I've changed a bit from the little smiley hopelessly optimistic lady I was a few years ago. But I'm leaving the old bit because it might one day serve as a reminder that we can't change our philosophy for the worse just because things change.

So here is the deal. We aren't going to be around forever, and everything is temporary anyways. I don't want to be caught going down the same path without even realizing it. I hope to recognize every day as an adventure with an opportunity to learn something or meet someone new. If I can make one stranger's life easier with a random act of kindness or if I can develop better compassion or patience- its been a good day. One foot at a time, keep yourself open to new.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started off a few years ago not knowing a thing about surfing, let alone hosting. I've deeply valued my couch surfing experiences and want to participate as a surfer, a host, or simply someone who meets up with travelers and shares that thirst for life.

I will do my best to spread the wild, unexpected joy that couch surfing can bring as my continuous thanks to surfers and hosts both past and future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

To describe where I am today without paying homage to my first surfing experiences would be a great injustice. I was a novice, and many took me in and showed me the other side of things. I didn't plan much, but I ended up in places I'd never dreamed of. Some of the best days of my life were spent hosting travelers from around the world.

Interests

If we want to get generic, I enjoy outdoorsy things with spontaneous and goofy people. I enjoy dancing to music that I can actually groove to and love being barefoot.

I love horses, I paint cats, I like holding hands because I appreciate being close to people. I enjoy wine out of the bottle, or from a fancy chalice depending on the the couch I'm drinking it from.

I'm interested in enjoying the moment, and finding others who will join me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fulfilled a childhood dream of galloping across an open field in the mountains of Colorado. While learning the trails as wranglers on a horse ranch, we would run side by side with the wind blowing in our hair- laughing and enjoying the exhilaration that running with horses brings to the soul. What a rush!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could talk your ear off about horses and horse philosophy that I find to be true. I will definitely talk your ear off about cats and how to make them from scratch with rabbit fur. I am known for excellent hugs and I will share my not-very-mysterious techniques.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Costuming techniques and character content for impersonating a comically eclectic and spry granny who may or may not own too many cats.
