About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I will make you smile.

ABOUT ME

My name is Maggi. That's 2 Gs, no E.
Chances are, I would like to get to know you!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that every day we are here is a gift from God, so there is no sense in wasting time complaining or doing trivial things. If I have shown love to each person I come in contact with, served those around me, and made someone's day better, it has been a good day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well. One time, several days after Coeur d' Alene Ironman (When everyone was motivated to do Ironman the next year), I was driving down a steep hill near my house, right behind a 60 something year old who was clearly hoping to do Ironman the following year. I glanced to my left while approaching the bottom of the hill, and low and behold, we have a large deer. Apparently the man on the bike did not see the deer, because he collided with it at about 32 miles an hour. After laughing and then realizing the seriousness of the situation, I pulled over and called an ambulance...The man wound up with a broken rib and terrible road rash, but I think the deer endured worse suffering than the old man did.

That was, hand down, the craziest thing I have ever seen in person :)
