ABOUT ME

I am a free spirited person, I love to meet new people and have new adventures!
I am 24 years old, I graduated from college 2 years ago and I have been traveling ever since. I moved up to alaska right after graduation where I worked as a bartender. There I met my boyfriend Jon, who was a river guide. I roadtripped around the american west, and landed in Salt Lake city, Utah where I was a ski bum for the winter. In spring, Jon and I rode our bikes across the United States, 3 months of camping and biking every day. Then we went on a 2 week sailing trip around the New England area. After that we left North America for South America and spent 2 months backpacking our way down the coast. We started in Lima, Peru and finished in Puerto Natales, Chile, climbing, camping and treking the entire way.

Now it's time to get jobs, get an apartment, cook on a stove that isn't made by MSR, sleep in a bed that I didn't have to blow up, and take showers regularly. The simple things...

PHILOSOPHY

You only live one life, and so you have to get out there and live it. Take risks, get hurt, play hard, and see the world. You really have to LIVE.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only been a surfer as of now, but as soon as I have an address, I want to host. I will have a lot of pay it forwards to pay back, and I can't wait to get started. So many people to meet, I'm so excited!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On our bike tour across North America, and while backpacking down South America, we stayed with several different hosts, and made friends all over this hemisphere.
Also, we stayed with cyclists on WarmShowers, and that was amazing too.

books I've read recently- Cold Mountain, The Alchemist, Eat, Pray, Love, Devil in the White City... I love to read.

Music- I love almost anything & lots of blue grass.

Movies- eh, don't watch TV much. But my favorite movies of all time are Twister & Jurassic Park.
