Hey, I'm Magda, I'm from Poland. I was born in Cracow and moved to Warsaw to study Linguistics. I spent in the capital five years, than moved to Spain for couple of months, later I met Renato, my current husband :), moved to Portugal where I worked as an English teacher. There I started thinking about traveling on a real scale - going to Asia and South America for more than one year. Luckily, my husband shared that dream :) To be able to do it, we moved to Dubai. We spent there one year working and saving for our dream - round the world backpacking trip.

Currently we are realizing our long-term dream. Our plan is to start from Portugal (Renato is Portuguese), go by car to Poland, spend there 2-3 weeks to take care of the visas, etc. and start backpacking east to Asia. And if everything goes well, end up traveling through South America and maybe even further.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It all started with small trips during my studies. Then I understood how great it is to travel and get to know people along the way. Seeing the countries with local people is the best way visit new places.
I couchsurfed in Poland, Portugal, Spain and Oman but hopfully soon my list will be growing!

Interests

Traveling, visiting new places. Languages. Films, especially smaller European productions.
And I love doing jewelry and things on my own. If I ever decide to leave everything and start doing something very different I will start to sew and I will open a small shop in some nice city abroad and I will sell the things I do :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the Himalayan mountains! It was incredible, they were so high that it seemed that they don't touch the ground, just float in the sky:)

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are traveling, our house is our backpack, so currently we don't have a place to offer. However, some day we will settle down and we will definitely continue our couchsurfing adventure hosting other travelers and sharing experiences.
