ABOUT ME

I still have a lot of work to do to figure this part out. I love music, books, film. I have been vegan for several years. I like to find old cameras, fix them, modify modern film to fit them, and take pictures. I love writing and writing music.

I have been told by a few couchsurfers that I am taller than I look in my profile pictures, so to get it all out in the open, I am 6'2" (1.89m).

PHILOSOPHY

I just like to let things happen. I always hope for good things, but if bad things come I will handle them then rather than expecting them beforehand. It's a new philosophy, so I will update this if it turns out to be a bad one.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host as often as possible and have done a bit of surfing. I hope to do that as much as possible too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a lot and surfed a little. It has been great every time and I have not met a person I didn't instantly like.

兴趣

I love learning new languages, or just words and phrases in languages. I learn a lot from watching film, listening to music, or just being with friends who are speaking with each other.

Some of my favorite directors:
Majidi, Kiarostami, Makhmalbaf (all of them are good,) Fellini, Bergman, Menzel, Kaurismäki... I guess I really like Iranian directors, but am very openminded with film.

Some writers:
Orhan Pamuk, Patrick McCabe, David B, Chinua Achebe, Vladimir Nabokov, Cesar Aira, and a lot of others.

The music... too many to list and it changes so often. I like what Sweden is doing with pop music these days. I like orchestral pop music. I don't like the names that somebody made for all the subgenres, so I won't use any if I can help it. I love hip hop and R&B from the late 80s, early & mid 90's. There are still some decent hip hop groups out there now.
