ABOUT ME
I'm a friendly, easygoing British guy who thinks he's funny. I think one friend said 'pseudo-nerd hipster chic'. That'll do.
After four years of Architecture training I'm *trying* to remain fairly uncultured and normal. I love meeting new people, am adventurous and chatty.
PHILOSOPHY
I try and take things as they come.
Also, I really like the Freud quote:
"Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm always up for meeting new friendly faces, and happy to give tours around town / point out what's good. When I get my own proper place I'll host people properly.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far!
Interests
Socialising and seeing new places, architecture and how people live. I love hip-hop, speaking German and playing piano. Having lived in Berlin, I'm no stranger to clubbing, but also being English means I also love a good tea and chat. I'm sort of a geek for History and politics too, (although I'm pretty apolitical).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing real mountains for the first time (Norway, aged 22).
Climbing 2 hours deep into the rock of Gibraltar to find an underground lake (done this loads of times).
Swimming in a NJ lake at night on 3rd July, lit up by fireworks (last year).
Various raves in Berlin (2012).
Teach, Learn, Share
I love talking about Britain, our culture, classes and stereotypes, arts and architecture and music (all sorts).
