I've met a nearby traveler from Russia in Montreal, Dmitry, and we hanged out during the summer 2009. We became close friends and we traveled together many times over the years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I experimented traditional russian sauna in the datcha of my friend in the russian countryside. Laying nude in the sauna, my friend was lightly whipping me on the back with a bunch of green twigs from a tree. For a Canadian this is pretty uncommon.
