Hello! My name's Millaa. I've reached a point in my life where I'm looking to begin a new chapter and go off exploring Europe in winter. Friends of mine have spoken about their adventures in the past and I feel inspired to now find out for myself. However, I'm looking to experiment with non-mainstream/institutionalized forms of travel to gain glimpses of different lives throughout the globe; and explore my relationship with this beautiful planet by engaging with different cultures and languages.

This year I've been working at a not-for-profit cafe called Lentil As Anything where I grew as a person and experienced many different cultures. I grew active in fight for asylum seekers and refugees. This year has been one where I have learned so much and grown up so fast, I wish to continue exploring such personal development by starting my new year in Europe.

I have many interests. Some of these include: reading, writing (novels, poetry, performance art), meditating, visiting galleries and exhibitions, connecting with like-minded souls, trying new things, learning deeply, and most importantly.....having fun!

I'm looking to connect with locals throughout my travels. Exchanging stories is one of the main reasons I'm drawn to this site. Building a global network of friends is important to me. You never know who you may meet along the way! The idea of embracing uncertainty is incredibly appealing to me at this time!

To explore this pale blue dot, to experience, to learn and meet others is my goal. If living means anything doesn't it mean limitless curiosity?

CS for me is about sharing experiences and learning from each other regardless of our philosophies and interests so I am not at all worried if our interests are not perfectly aligned.

My goals are to travel the world as cheaply and adventurously as possible - on horseback across the Mongolian steppes, to playing punk music in seedy Berlin nightclubs, to bicycling from Paris to Peking (Beijing), to trekking across Iceland listening to throat singers, to live and help build a floating hut on Lake Titicaca, to having hot chocolate with the King of the Belgians and many other endeavors. To experience each culture with fresh eyes and an open heart.
