ABOUT ME
I DANCE TANGO, Argentine TANGO. Argentine Tango is a Social dance, meaning there are no competitions but rather festivals where we get together and dance until dawn...
I teach the dance, to beginners and intermediates. Right now I'm based out of Houston, but I do a lot of traveling on the road for my teaching. So I'm not really sure where I'm gonna be. Mostly, I go where the tango takes me.
And sometimes that means I need a couch in an unfamiliar city at the last minute...
PHILOSOPHY
Good lord when do these questions end....
My personal philosophy...is to tango as much as possible, while I still have feet left that work properly....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Whenever I have a need, I couch surf! I will pay it forward when I have a home of my own...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I once needed a place to crash.
My friend saved me from a fate worse than bad pizza, and no shower!
His couch.
His couch turned out to be his bedroom while he was in Maui for 3 months!
Now THAT'S what I call a couch and a friend.
Interests
Tango! Is there anything else ? Really, I'm not so one dimensional. Honest...I can hold a civil conversation without bringing up the word, ummmm...if I say it, then I've brought up the word, and that just wouldnt' be right. I can't say it...I can't, I can't...but I must! TANGO! There I said it. I feel better now. Tango, tango, tango! There I said it again...doth this mean you're not going to like me now ? (smile)
