CURRENT MISSION

Hop on that bike and don't come back until we've done enough!
On the 26th July 2016 we left for a long-lasting bike trip, as in a nomadic lifestyle. Africa will be the first continent and we expect to spend some of our most memorable years there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We talk about it to our friends and family telling them how good our experiences were and will be. We always try to bring more people into this community. We've been hosted by many non-couchsurfers as well.

Rita hosted some people while she lived alone but then we moved to a rented room in a family house so we couldn't host anyone anymore... Well, we occasionally pick up cycle-tourers from the road to spend the night with us, but shhhh don't tell the owners!

We'll certainly avoid non-personal places like hotels every time we travel - be it searching for a couch or knocking at people's door.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Rita had some experiences and so far they were ALL 'A'-mazing!
Most of them remained friends and communicate regularly.
For us, couchsurfing has nothing to do with a free place to stay - rather an excellent opportunity to exchange cultures and leave full hearted.

MOViES - We're addicted!... so it would be a LONG list to run!

MUSiC - We listen to almost all kinds of music, depending on our mood. From Classical music or 80's to Trance or Etnical music, and almost everything in-between.

BOOKS - We read whenever we have some free time (which we almost don't...) and mostly about travelings and other cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rita learnt how to ride a bike in October 2010 and in June 2016 we'll be riding the world together!

BOOM Festival 2010 and 2012 CS Camps! We could gather 45 people in 2010 and more than 100 (we stopped counting them) in 2012 from all over the world and we became a huge international family! Best moments of our lives!
(In 2014 the organization took off our banner ruining the whole thing...)

(Rita) One thing I won't forget and still moves me... It happened at the opening of Boom Festival 2008, I was so happy that some tears were running down my face, and a foreign old man held my face on his hands and kissed my forehead, without saying a single word. Then he left, smiling. Felt like a blessing.
