About Me

I My mother is French and my father is Colombian. Grew up mostly in Colombia but my culture is clearly a mix of Colombia and France. I have always been very curious and always had a weakness for chocolate and reading.
Then I discovered travelling and that is all what I wanted to do, I spent all the money I would get from student jobs travelling. I became fascinated by the richness in culture, points of view and flavors (of food) all around the world. I made many friends. After a while I also decided on a career that would allow me to be curious non-stop: Physics. I have pursued that and that is what took me to the US, to the University of Colorado. Here I met my wife who shares my same passion for discovery and that motivates me to continue to explore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know that what is special about each city and country is not the postcards, it is the people, the culture they carry and the food. Couch surfing seems like a great way to connect with locals, I have mostly just hang out with people that couchsurf and that host, and now I am ready to try it! :)
