I am a man in my mid 30's that just recently got unemployed due to the company I work for got shut down. But Im still getting payed for a few more months and are thinking about doing some travel and face my fears.
Ive been traveling alone before, but mostly to places I'v been before. I love meeting new people and have gathered some friends during my travels in Thailand.
I love playing video games - a little bit to much. But I also read a lot, I listen to all kind of music - yet I prefer music that has a personal touch and don't feel industrialised. I can appreciate it, but if I were to nail my preference it would be sing and song - writers - designated rockbands like Muse, or why not listen to classical music - old or modern. Thats me :)
And - Im a TV-series junkie to, not to much into movies anymore.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have a very specific reason why I'm signing up for Couchsurfing. I'm having a plan to go to Japan. The reason - I have an idea!
I am one of those who dream about writing a book one day. Yea - that is probably not gonna happen - but still I think about the story almost every day and I can not move on with it without visiting Japan. Here's why.

When I am relaxing my imaginary brain starts developing storys. It was a fantasy theme - historical medieval settings and so on. But I never got a fitting frame for the story - it didn't feel original. But one day - I was actually playing a video game with the settings of the Fedual Japan era - and it hit me that this is what I had been missing. Within days I had almost the first book completed in my head - but when I was starting to write it down I was blocked. Could not describe the settings, the atmosphere or do accurate descriptions. So I thought to my self that maybe one day I could go to Japan and visit museums, visit old tempels and look at Architecture from old Japan. Take in the culture and so on.

Now I'm very unsure if this trip will happen at all. I am just out of my employment and I need to take in to consideration that I might - or not - find a new job so I have to keep my travel expenses down if I am to go anywhere. So I thought that couch surfing could be a option.

I know it might be a lot to ask for - but if there is someone out there that has a big heart för History, novels and would like to take me to different sites in Japan and be my best friend. I bet we would have a lot fun together.

I am a storyteller, and I have a few of my own. I have some traveling in Thailand in my back, but I wouldn't call them adventures. However - things seem to happen to me at occasion and there's always a story to share.
