CS is not about getting a free place to sleep, it's about getting to know new people and their cultures! It's an awesome concept that I really love, and so far, I've only got positive experience with CS! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After climbing a whole day on Santa Maria, a vulcano in Quetzaltenango Guatemala, I watched Santiaguito(one of the world most activ vulcano)not far away from where i was sitting, having an 10-15 minutes(!) lava eruption. The ground was shaking, it was very dark and there was a huge sound of stones that fell done the vulcano. The next day, the sky was clear and cows(wierd to find cows 3000 meters up on a vulcano!) were grazing. Then suddenly Santiaguito had two heavy ash eruptions and just a few minutes after I got covered by ash rain.
