Overview
About Me
I'm a Dane always on the move and always seeing the world. I'm an innate traveller and a lover of life. I'm just a bundle of positive energy and I love to discuss world issues and basically anything that you can think of! I'm good at listening and giving inputs to the convo. I work as a translator on Europe's largest equestrian magazine 'Malgré Tout'. I work out and go for runs. Spend a lot of time with my family and friends.
I like to appreciate the beauty and excellence in all things. I'm chill, cool and down to earth and very accepting and appreciative :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm trying to plan a summer holiday this vacation and go somewhere I haven't been.
So essentially to see the real culture. To live with awesome people while I travel and meet local people who are willing to share a bit of their culture with me. I am not very interested in some tourist bs but I appreciate the real deal. I travel to immerse myself in a new city and culture and not to be an outsider.
On a more generic level I am on obviously on Couchsurfing because the most awesome people are found in here! This is like a cult of the cool. Cool as in they are internationally minded, friendly, understanding, looking to create peace across borders and make the borders disappear even if just for a brief moment. That is the beauty of a page like this and the people who inhabit it.
Interests
I used to be very spiritual but I've dialed it down a bit. I lived as a monk for over a year diet-wise but went back to normal. In my spare time I am trying to start a coaching business and build a website using Google SEO techniques etc. I'm interested in politics, culture and world studies.

Music, Movies, and Books
Guns, Germs and Steel (amazing book on why the world looks the way it does today). I love Hemingway's way of writing , Cat In The Rain is a personal favorite short.
There Will Be Blood by the Coen Brothers (incredible movie that just keeps you in trance for 3 hours... Waiting for that blood!) Also King Kong by Peter Jackson for some strange reason.
Music-wise anything real. Anything coming from the heart and soul of an artist then the genre is of secondary importance. I suppose I prefer lyrical content but am also able to appreciate beats and wordless musical art. I listen to a lot of American hip hop.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Existing.. I think everyone does something amazing everyday.. But to pay homage to the question, some of the things I've done have shaken my understanding of the World more than others: I've helped Syrian Refugees as part of a Norwegian NGO in Greece. I've lived and studied at an international school in Norway for two years with 200 students from over 90 different countries! I've traveled the world and gotten a bachelor's degree from an internationally renowned university.
Teach, Learn, Share
All things I love ^ languages and opinions are easily taught and shared.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lots of information and pleasant philosophical talks about politics, existence or a topic of their choice. I'm all ears and, if anyone is interested, more than happy to share my two cents on most matters of political, philosophical or metaphysical importance. Life is enjoyable. Partying and having a good time socially :-)
