ABOUT ME

I'm from Toronto and from a family of artists. I am a filmmaker and interested in all kinds of films. I went to York university for screenwriting and for the past year have been working at a documentary production company office. I don't like sitting behind a desk but it has been great experience.

In film I usually work with the art department building sets which I enjoy immensely because every project is a new interesting challenge.

When I'm not working I'm hanging out with my friends or doing some kind of art like photography or writing.

I really want to be immersed into culture and understand it from a local perspective. Couchsurfing seems like the best way to accomplish this. I don't like being a tourist. I like being a visitor to a new culture.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that people are inherently good and couch surfing seems to follow the same philosophy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met with a few people who have couch surfed and come back with friends. This is ideal to me. I met one girl in Paris through couch surfing and we are now friends.

Interests

I really like all art and nature. I love drawing, photography, filmmaking, and using my hands to build things. Regardless of whether it's a piece of art or a deck to sit on.

I love traditional food and want to try homecooked food from every culture. This is another reason why I want to couch surf.

I love Stanley Kubrick , fritz Lang, Jim jaramuch and other film makers. I like Alien, The Thing, le Circ Le Rouge, A Man for All Seasons, etc
