To expand my world with the people I meet; to learn to speak better Spanish (so I can make more friends who are Mexican, and to learn everything I can about Mexican food and recipes

ABOUT ME

Cultural heritage is important to me because when I was growing up, I was the only kid in the neighbourhood with parents from Europe. I was so proud of that. Now that I am spending more time in Mexico, I am so in love with the culture, and especially the history of Mexican cuisine because I cook for a living.

I have not traveled as much as I would have liked in the last 15 years, so my plan is to make up for it. I admire people who have made travel an integral part of their lives- it makes life so much richer!! With my involvement in Couch Surfing, I'd look forward to meeting more fellow travellers and learning about their experiences, be being a host as well as a couch surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Each time I have traveled as a surfer or hosted, I have been reminded how open and interesting travellers are to talk to. I have surfed in Mexico City and Puebla, Mexico so far and met up with some surfers where I live

兴趣

Aside from food, I am into design, music (especially anything I can dance to.. at clubs, or I now love learning to dance Salsa!)
film (Almodovar, Guilllermo del Toro, Spike Jonze..many others, especially foreign and arty films--just saw some great shorts at Expresion en COrto film fest here in SMA) reading, and I also write short stories and articles for my blog.(mostly about food!)

I would love to share my cooking skills with others by making a nice meal with my hosts.. if they want to learn, I can teach, or we can make a nice meal together by sharing tastes and ideas.
