Overview
About Me
I'm a Tunisian 22-year-old.
Currently volunteering in one of ESC projects: International Youth Houses. Learning about new people, their culture, and their country.
I received a Finnish resident permit, and I'm staying in Finland for an entire year thanks to this project.
I thought I'd make the best out of it and push my luck to see if I can travel across other parts of Europe while on it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new in this country, I have a nice circle, but it's always nice to have an extra friendly face around. If I get a chatty guest, it would be great, I would definitely show you around if you want to. But if you're more on the quiet side, I can also leave you alone to do your thing obviously.

On the other side,
We're planning to visit new places, where people don't necessarily communicate in a language we can understand, so it would be nice to have someone ( a host ) that could share their insights about their country and region, where to go, what to do etc..
And to be completely honest, it's also for budgeting purposes, I mean, I only have my volunteer stipend and it's not enough to "travel" so Couchsurfing seems very convenient.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly like psychological or near-future-dystopia movies/short series.
I'm not a series person, I think I've only watched some Black Mirror, Rick&Morty episodes, and the only time I finished a series was: LoveDeathAndRobots since each episode is its own world ( and amazing animation )
I enjoy listening to any kind of music that fits the social context, but I mostly like progressive/post-rock.
Books: I am currently trying to catch up on the classics. But I read some thrillers, dramas, and novels here and there.
You can ask me about favorites in person.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can't think of anything right now.
Sometimes, all you need to be is: ordinary or decent enough.
That's my amazing thing: I try not to make people’s life more complicated that they already are.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am more of a listener, but I can also share a lot about world history, Arab and North African culture, I can learn about you as a person and as a cultural byproduct of your own nation lol
What I Can Share with Hosts
ethnic food, conversations about history, volunteer experience, books I've read, games, ESC
