In Vienna I am working as an elementary teacher in a school in the 10th district and I enjoy working with the kids very, very much. (That was in 2015)

Now my bf and I are travelling through Peru, Ecuador and Colombia (until the end of august 2016)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing so I can get to meet new cool people. I think a travelling experience is more authentic, when you meet local people. They know all the secret spots, the best bars and restaurants and can tell you about the real life, not the touristic life.
Next year my fiancé and I are going to stay in Mexico for a while and we will be travelling a lot. That would be the perfect opportunity to meet a lot of nice people that can show or tell you all the cool places. After Mexico we want to see more of Southamerica (so exciting!!). We will be traveling to Peru, Ecuador, Kolumbia, Panama and Costa Rica. (At least we hope to see all these beautiful places - depends on time and budget!) But we try our best!

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot of books, no specific genres, I just need to like the book. Sometimes I read books to improve my languge skills, which I am trying to do with Spanish at the moment.
Right now, I am very much into healthy living and educational books (for my classes).
Music to me is everything, I love dancing, I love listening to music and just enjoying it like that. It does not really matter if it is classical, pop, rock, hip hip or whatever, as long as it sounds good (to me) . At the moment I am really into Cellos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing... puh.. no Idea. I think that the most amazing thing is in my life is just packing up and going to Latinamerica for some time.. which is exciting, but scary at the same time. Allthough I am certain it will be an awesome time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I am a teacher by heart, I love to teach children. I love their energy, their curiosity, their open-minded spirits. I love helping people learn my native language, German (super complicated language, to me at least ;) )

I like to learn new things, knowledge and education are so valuable! I hope one day we will teach our children what is really importan: respect, love and thinking out of the box!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Because I grew up between two cultures I was always curious about the others, about different people, about different countries.
I am very curious how my CS experience will be, to meet all these lovely people.
In Mexico we have met such inspiring and great people... and I am sure it will continue with you! :)
