My name is Maha and I am a professional dancer, social worker and artist!

I think I tried to stop travelling because I thought I'd have enough after the hastle of Covid but I started to realize its just something that I can never stop doing as my curiosity exceeds all of this world wide drama!

My origin is Japanese but I was raised in South Australia. There I lived for most of my life. I may be Japanese in blood but Aussie at heart. I love art passionately and is something I think about everyday. I changed mediums several times due to being bored from the other one and keep starting new ones to keep occupying my brain with different constructs and ideas to further enhance my creativity.

Love me some good old fashion music festivals, delicious food and an ice cold beverage on a hot summers day and don't like it too much when the sun goes away. Love a bit of sun and trees, love to see them.

I love to understand people's perspectives in life as everyone has gone through a bunch of experiences that I have never even thought and considered and it makes life more interesting to be able to just listen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanted to travel everywhere and discover! Mostly to see the world and experience the unknown. Although people do say curiosity can kill, to me discovering it myself would make it totally worth it.

Well Pendulum is my religion and Rob Swire is basically my Jesus. (Pendulum is a band)

I listen to a lot of music but I don't think I listen to enough to be honest. I need to find a new group to listen to as well.
I listen to a lot of things but lately a lot of Low fi hip hop.

Favourite movies are Akira, Kill Bill and I love basically all of Miyazaki Hayao's works like Nausicā and Spirited Away.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the age of 18 I've travelled 4 countries with nothing but my own money and my own will, those 4 have meant the world to me
