Overview
About Me
Trying to live my best life and chase my dreams.
In 2021, I decided to quit my 9-5 job to travel the world and inspire other young people to chase their dreams regardless of how ambitious they might be.
I am an enthusiastic, friendly student for life. One of the things I cherish most in life is meeting people. Some of the most magical things have come out from putting myself out there and just taking a little bit of risk. At first, Couchsurfing was a risk but now it's become a platform to meet some awesome like-minded people.
I like to have meaningful conversations about things that matter in the world and life. I'm also an aspiring entrepreneur so naturally a huge startup nerd. I love meeting other entrepreneurs or more importantly ambitious innovators that want to defy the status quo and make something of their lives.
Also, I love photography!! You can see my work here: https://instagram.com/mahadaamir
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet like-minded people that are passionate about traveling and building new relationships. My first Couchsurfing experience was when I was hosted by one of the kindest people I have ever met. Mike and his 2 dogs made us feel right at home and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. After an experience like that, I wanted to continue to meet more people like Mike which is why I try to always come here when travelling.

Love adventure movies, sci-fi, mystery, and HUGE superhero movie fan!

Trying to read more, but one of my favorite books is The Alchemist.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many adventures to only mention one:
In 2019, I went on a solo backpacking trip to Cuba. Over there I spontaneously stayed the night in the middle of nowhere on top of a valley in an isolated cabin with an elderly people that I had just met who didn't even speak the same language as me, all because I wanted to see the sunrise from there the following morning. If you want to hear how that went ask me about the Sofia & Antonio story ;)
In 2020, I decided to do a road trip through Quebec, Canada with a complete stranger - that stranger ended up becoming one of my closest friends by the end of the trip.
Teach, Learn, Share
Looking to learn about different cultures, and I am always happy to teach people about mine!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
An absolutely great time, a person to chat with, and an opportunity to do something out of their comfort zone. Last time, I encouraged my host to come to watch the sunrise with us at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. This is something he had never done and he lived in the city, but after experiencing it with us, he absolutely loved it.
