About Me

I'm a business student who is currently attending Barry University in the beautiful city of Miami, FL. I'm really grateful about how far I've come in my life. My first steps were taken in a tiny city that goes by the name of Cambridge, located in the tiny state of Maryland. As a kid, I used to dream about exploring the world and all of the amazing different cultures it had to offer. Being from a small town though, I never could've imagined that I would actually get to experience them. But here I am now, twenty years later. I've lived and attended school in 7 different cities across the world and I've met and made friends with hundreds of unique people from all over the globe.

Everyone has a story about where they're from, why they're doing what they are and where they want to be next in life and I love to listen to them! It's like every person is a new story that is just waiting to be opened. I have done some pretty amazing things in my life and I want to meet people who feel grateful about their own lives as well. Just looking for fun, positive people with good vibes✌🏽️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard so many great things about couchsurfing.com and I thought I'd give it a try myself. Some friends of mine went on a long road trip around America a few summers ago with the help of this website and they said that it's definitely something that I should experience in my life time. They told me about all the kind, wonderful, and multicultured people that they've met on here and I am excited for the opportunity to make new friends from all over the world. I have lived in multiple places in many different countries and I love learning about all the different kinds of cultures that this world has to offer.

So far, I’ve stayed with two different hosts and all I can say is wow, I was born to be on this website hahaha. I’ve had amazing experiences both times and I would definitely recommend this site to anyone interested in meeting people from all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music. I will literally listen to anything and everything because I believe all music is beautiful if you try to understand the lyrics and melody from the perspective of the artist who produced it. I love action, thriller, and comedy movies but I am open to watching any genre. My favorite book right now is The Alchemist but I just finished The Celestine Prophecy and it’s also right up there as one of my top picks!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like I've done so many amazing things in my short life time but in my opinion, the most amazing thing I've ever done is live in the city of Dubai. So many different cultures from all over the world are so vibrantly expressed in that small chunk of the Arabian desert and it was amazing being able to meet people from places that I never even heard about. I stayed there for only a total of four years, but they were definitely the greatest four years of my life. Just being able to experience all the unique cultures in one single city was an eye opening experience. It molded me into the person I am today and I am extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to learn about so many different cultures in one single city. Also probably why I decided to attend college in Miami today, as it’s kind of like the mini American version of Dubai.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach many different things about any one of the interests I listed earlier as well as share the cultural upbringing of a person who’s only culture is none at all. Growing up all over the world never really allowed me to associate with any single ideology as every time I would get accustomed to one, I would be moving on to another one faster than I could fully understand it.

I can definitely share Pakistani and Indian food though lol. My mom has been cooking for 40 years and I’ve learned everything I could from her. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

As far as what I want to learn from you well, I hope you like talking lol. I just recently started a business celebrating cities from all over the world and I definitely want you to tell me about your favorite landmarks from the countries you’ve traveled to and lived in. If you’re down to share, I would love to add your experiences and favorites to my website!
