Overview
About Me
Hello! My full name is a bit complicated, so just call me Rafa.
I grew up in the suburb of Jakarta, move out from home when I finished high school, and have been on my own for almost a decade.
I admire the nature, culture, architecture and urban planning yet I study information science and advanced the degree in business information systems. Sometimes I'm thinking like wtf I am doing now hahaha, I felt like this is not for me.. but yeah I've been through it all...
About myself, I am open to new ideas, not afraid to try and explore new stuff, exploring, love nature and outdoor activities, a free spirit. Might a bit hard to start a conversation but could be too talkative when we have things in common.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why? I like to travel but I don't have many friends to go with... people got caught up in commitments nowadays, sad but true.
Although it's totally fine for me to explore things by myself, I think having a buddy to have a trip well spent is much better
And about hosting, I've never been hosting someone before, but hey poke me I might be free and can show you around my town!

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have a specific taste of music, I listen to music my ears like. Thanks to my Google Pixel now I can save music easier and faster I'm up to horror, thriller, crime and action movies!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have always wanted to travel experiencing new countries, its culture and people but I was broke when I was in uni. Then, I did some research and wrote papers; I sent it to conferences around the globe and amazingly they accepted my papers, got free tickets to the Philippines and Turkey
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you... I don't know. I'm master of none, perhaps jack of all trades... Oh! But one thing I'm good at is navigating! Never get lost if at least I've been to a particular place once.
I'm now learning Mandarin, my housemates are Chinese, my clients are Chinese, there are many Chinese people here where I live, and China is a big market, no reason not to learn this language, if not only for its complicated written form and tonal sounds, I might master the language by now

Australia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
