ABOUT ME

I'm laid back and like to go with the flow. I find it very difficult to say no to any new experience, and am usually up for anything. I have a off-beat, dark sense of humour, and really enjoy cracking jokes with people who have similar tastes. I'm quite the foodie, and my second favourite part of travelling is trying out the different foods from all parts of the world. My most favourite part is meeting people from all walks of life and learning from them. Since I'm a bit of a computer nerd, sometime I suffer from laptop withdrawal :p.

Interests

I'm always interested in the history of a place I visit, as well as its social culture - especially in how it prioritizes the individual and conventional community roles. FOOD is a huge interest of mine, as well as music, dance, and books.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
All time favourites are Catch 22, The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy books, and the Alice books. I've loved all the Kurt Vonnegut books I've read. I'm quite the Harry Potter fan.
I most recently started reading the Millennium Series and love them! I'm reading Foundation by Asimov right now and am getting annoyed at the lack of female characters and the imperialist tone it has. Maybe it'll get better.
Music:
I just discovered Django Django! GOOD STUFF. My music taste keeps changing, though I have a tendency to go back to Dylan, Hendrix, and the Beatles. I also really like south asian classical music, and qawalis.
