As clichéd as it is: what better way to meet local people and get to learn their culture?

I have travelled many countries previously and have usually stayed in hostels. This time I would love to broaden my horizons and experience something more authentic by getting to know local people.

Musica, film e libri

I'm into most genres of music, ranging from classical jazz to 90s hip-hop, rap and R&B to many forms of electronic music. I'm very much open to all forms of music with the only exception being anything where lyrics are screamed rather than sung (with the exception of Crystal Castles!)

I'm a big fan of thrillers and dramas such as Christopher Nolan, Tarantino and Scorsese movies. But give me a Team America, Superbad or any films with Simon Pegg in it and I'll be just as happy.

Guns, Germs and Steel is by far the best non-fiction book I've read. Anthropology and history fascinate me greatly; I love learning about what makes humans the way they are.
