About Me

I'm a 21 years old full time student living in Zeeland, Netherlands. I am from Pamplona, Navarre, Spain and I moved the Netherlands 6 months ago to study International Business. Before moving to this beautiful country, I spent 2 years as an Au Pair (which means that I love kids) in United States of America; first in Boston, Massachusetts, and then in Boulder, Colorado.
I'm cheerful and positive though realistic, and I love to learn about other cultures, try new food (but not in restaurants) and meeting new people.

After finishing high school I was uncertain of what to study next, what I wanted to do, and so I decided to become an au pair since I love children. This gave me the chance to take the time I so much needed to think about my future, travel (the best part!) and to find myself. It was supposed to be for a year but I was having such a great time that I decided to stick around the Estates for a bit, although I moved to a different state (I loved Boston but in Boulder, Colorado, lies my heart.

Since I am a full time student now, travelling it's been really difficult, so I take any chance I get to do so. It's time to live to the fullest!
I'm a little bit shy so when you first meet me don't worry if I don't speak too much, because once I'm comfortable with the person/people I'm with, I could speak for hours, no matter the topic.

I love driving, specially a motorcycle. I hope to one day own a Harley Davidson and go travel the world.

I hate to plan my trips, the only thing I need to know is how to get there, where I'm staying and a few places of interest. I drive my sister crazy with this. Lots of times I find myself in beautiful places that most of people don't get to see because they only go to the most famous places, and it's a waste.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting new interesting people because of it.
Broaden your minds, get new perspectives, try new things! Live is and adventure.
Someone told me about this great way of traveling where you get to know amazing people that can saw you so many things that you wouldn't learn otherwise! I first tried it when I was and Au Pair, and since I earned so little money I gave it a try. I stayed for a weekend in Portland, Main and it was amazing; the next time I got the opportunity to use this platform was for a night in San Francisco and my hosts showed me around (I loved it). Now I am trying to get to know the Netherlands and its culture as much as possible, planning a cycling trip through the country. where you get to know amazing people that can saw you so many things that you wouldn't learn otherwise.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't do favorites; I love lots of songs, movies and books. When it comes to music I'm quite the eclectic person; I go from classic (I play the flute and piano), rock, to pop easily. I can't go through the day without music.
Movies and books, I love the mystery ones, specially if they are scary. I hate to watch romantic movies on the cinema, they are better in the coach with some pop corn (people usually have to force me watch them, though, even at home). And always with friends or family!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done in my live is having the courage to become an Au Pair right after finishing high school. And moving abroad again, to study in English to a place where I don't understand the language.
The best thing I have ever done was jumping out of a plane.
I did a lot of rafting trips and love each one of them, although nothing beats the weekend mountbiking in Moab!
I also hiked in Yosemite with a bunch of friends and nearly died, it was an incredible experience and I'll do it again!
I took a week long roadtrip through the west coast that taught me a lot about myself.
I have been in lots of roadtrips after that and I can never get tired of them.
