Overview
About Me
I am a 24-yo student from Italy, following a MSc in Archaeological Science. At heart, I am a cultural anthropologist who loves reading and travelling far more than I can afford it.
I also love cats!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people and cultures is what made me move to Iceland in the first place when I was 17. I love listening to other people's stories as I can easily relate them to mine, and this is something that never stopped although I have been changing country in the past 5 years. I strongly believe that it will never go away!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a huge fan of indie electronic music, but I do enjoy also folk and avant-rock. My favourite band is Sigur Rós, and my favourite album is Valtari, even if it is no one's favourite ;)
I enjoy South American literature, especially magical realism fiction (Gabriel García Márquez, Isabel Allende).
Not picky about movies, as I enjoy almost everything as long as it's good quality. I do have a crush on Wes Anderson's Grand Budapest Hotel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Colombian jungle for one week, sleeping under the stars and sharing everything with indigenous people and I regret almost everyday the decision to come back.
What I Can Share with Hosts
At the moment, I work as a pasta maker in an Italian restaurant. If you are willing to learn, I can teach you how to make pasta, pizza and gnocchi! I am not the best teacher I must admit, but with a bit of pacience I'm sure we can cook a nice Italian dinner together!
I also talk about books a lot, and anthropology, and movies I love. In fact, I do much more talking than actually cooking.
