Finish graduate school, and explore as many places in the midwest as I can while doing so.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 24-year-old filmmaker and artist. I spend most of my time hiding in dark rooms listening to sounds, and the rest of my time eating and drinking and riding bicycles. I grew up in Olympia, raised by parents from Evergreen, so that might tell you something. I like film. I like animals. I like cooking (not animals). I like art. I like bikes. I like traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience couch surfing (not part of this website), was when I was 19 and living in New York for the summer. The hostel I was staying at kicked me out, because they had overbooked, so I was stranded for a week or two with no where to stay. At first I slept at the office where I was interning, but that wasn't very pleasurable... Eventually I ran into an old friend and I spent the rest of my time hanging out in her scuzzy, cockroach ridden apartment in Bed-Stuy, eating chocolate fondue and listening to the Pixies. Gotta say, I had a great time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I saw a herd of mother bison and their babies. I sat by the side of a river and watched them eat and play for about an hour. Pretty magical.

Bicycle repair! And, how to make a killer stir fry. I can also share many movies with you. Both my own, and well, let's just say I've seen a lot of films.
