ABOUT ME

I live with friends in Buenos Aires, where I lived all my life and where, also with friends, I have an arts centre called Club Cultural Matienzo.

I study the Bachelor of Combined Arts career in UBA and in 2012, after doing lots of Acting Courses, I decided to start an acting career at IUNA (National Institute of Art). That was a great decision, the type of decisions that make you a happier person. Acting is one of the instances in life where you have to be fully present, body and mind, same as when you're doing yoga,travelling,dancing or when you love.

So I guess that's what I want and I seek: to live every moment as if they were holy and live each of them happily. I am a very very corny person, one of those who are moved with flowers, puppies, sunsets and small gestures of affection.

I Also like to write, go everywhere by bike, taking pictures (like a lot of girls and boys of my generation), cooking and eating, going to the theater, watch movies and do all that with my friends and my boyfriend.
Affirming that opposites attract, I am the girlfriend of Diego, who is a computer engineer, since 2008.

Estudio la carrera de Lic. en Artes Combinadas en la UBA y en el 2012, después de hacer montones de cursos de teatro, decidí empezar la carrera de Actuación el el IUNA (Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte). Esa fue una gran decisión, del tipo de decisiones que te hacen una persona más feliz. Actuar es una de las instancias de la vida donde uno tiene que estar completamente presente, en cuerpo y mente, como cuando se hace yoga, como cuando se viaja, como cuando se ama, como cuando se baila.

Así que supongo que eso es lo que quiero y busco: vivir todos los momentos como si fueran sagrados y vivirlos con alegría. Soy una persona muy muy cursi, de esas que se conmueven con las flores, los cachorros, los atardeceres, los pequeños gestos de afecto.

Además me gusta escribir, ir a todos lados en bicicleta, sacar fotos (como a muchas chicas y chicos de mi generación), cocinar y comer, ir al teatro, ver películas y hacer todo eso con mis amigos y mi novio.
Afirmando que los opuestos se atraen, agrego que estoy de novia hace cinco años con Diego, que es ingeniero en informática.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience in Couchsurfing. But I guess that is the way that best suits my ideal trip, with local hosts who can show me the essence of places, or at least what they perceive as such.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES:
My favorite is filmmaker Wes Anderson, I love all his movies. Besides that, my favorite movies are Rumble Fish, Apocalypse Now, Eternal Sunshine of a spottles mind, The Big Fish, High Fidelity, Trainspotting, every Woody Allen's, Cassavetes´, Aronofsky's and Almodovar's film.
In a not-so-snob plan, I really like american comedies, with actors like Steve Carrel, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrel, etc.
And I am a HUGE Fan of happy endings, which doesn´t mean that I can´t enjoy a nouvelle vague, a korean or a Herzog´s movie.

MUSIC:
I like a lot of independent bands from Argentina, specially indie rock bands, such as MUJERCITAS TERROR, Morbo y Mambo, Pez, Él mató a un policía motorizado, Jaime sin Tierra, Mompox, Doris, Massacre, Rosario Bléfari, Go-Neko, Lulacruza, and hundreds more.
My favorites international bands are Belle and Sebastian, Bowie, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Karen O and the Kids, Sigur Rós, Regina Spektor, PIXIES, Elliott Smith, Morrissey, Flaming Lips, The Smiths, Beirut, Joy Division, Blondie, Patti Smith, Talking Heads, Os Mutantes, and of course, hundreds more.

I also like other genres, like bossa nova, jazz, Reggae, some punk, post punk and new wave bands...
I really love music, but, who doesn´t?

BOOKS:

Probably at this point you could guess that I love the beatnik literature, and if you did, you were right.
I´m a cliche.
But I also like, and love, J. D. Salinger, Michel Houellebecq, Paul Auster, Haruki Murakami, Ian McEwan, Capote, Miranda July.
And Theatre author´s like Ibsen, Strindberg, Tenesse Williams, Maeterlinck, Spregelburd, Pinter.
And Latin American authors, like Clarice Lispector, Fabián Casas, Roberto Bolaño, Copi, Dani Umpi, Hebe Uhart, Cortazar, Borges, Arlt, Bizzio.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Top three moments in my life:
1) To feel in love during sunrise or sunset, that´s the greatest thing ever. And then go into the ocean.

Teach, Learn, Share

Let´s see: first of all, I can cook. I´m a great cooker and that´s because I love food above anything else, and I also love to discuss about it.

Also, if you have a physical pain, I can show you some moves to stretch and relax your body.

Third, I´m some kind of frustrated psychologist who loves listening to people's problems and counsel them about.
