About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To accurately represent the voices of the poor through a microfinance lens.
ABOUT ME
I'm currently spending a year researching microfinance from the female borrower perspective. I'll be travelling to Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, Rwanda, and Peru. My aim is to settle down in a village somewhere and really get to know the women who have borrowed from MFIs. I want to collect their experiences and share their stories.
I'm a feminist, krav maga lover, who cherishes those little moments of connection and understanding that can occur with complete and total strangers. I love good food, good music, and experiencing new things!
Currently living my life minute by minute.
PHILOSOPHY
"Expect nothing. Live frugally on surprise." - Alice Walker
I also believe that if you trust in the world and do good, you will somehow receive what you give back in one way or another.

Music, Movies, and Books
Hugo by Martin Scorsese and Amelie by Jean-Pierre Jeunet are my favorite favorite favorite films. They both, in their own way, encapsulate and bring to life the tiny, fleeting, beautiful, joy-filled moments that make our existence worth existing.
For music, I love anything that has a tempo that I can dance to.I am not a huge fan of country, however.
For Books, the most current books that I've really enjoyed was Sheryl Sandburg's 'Lean In'.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once crossed the Atlantic ocean by holding on to a single baleen plate of a large beluga whale. Yep.
