Hello! I'm Maida. I'm a Chilean currently living in Sydney, Australia. I came to OZ because I wanted to have a more balanced life, where not everything in life was working to build a name for yourself and making money to pay bills.
I really enjoy to be outdoors, either at the beach, doing a trekking or having a nap in a park... it really doesn't matter! I also enjoy reading, going to live gigs, having a drink and a good bbq.

Travelling has become something important to me in the last couple of years, so I'm in Couchsurfing because I thing it is a more sustainable way of travelling around the world, without mentioning that is an amazing way to meet new people and learn from others :).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I came back home in Chile after a five weeks holiday in South-East Asia, I cancelled the lease of the unit I was living in, sold all my belongings and went to live with friends to save money. After a couple of months I left my job and came to Australia to live my dream (living in another country and travelling around).
