Hello, I'm Maider :)

I'm an open mind, friendly, independent, optimistic and positive girl. I love travelling and meeting new people and cultures from all over the world. I've been traveling by my own since I was young and I would spend my whole live doing it. Travelling opens your mind and helps you seeing the world in another perspective. At least is what I have experienced it :)

I also love being with my family and friends and travelling or doing whatever with them.

I'm from Spain but I lived in Finland for nine months, two years ago due to my studies. Those months, without doubt, were the most amazing ones in my life. I've plenty of stories to tell about it!
Right now, I'm working and living in Belgium.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I think it's a perfect way for meeting new people and also for travelling to new places. Moreover, staying at a local's house makes you feel the city you are visiting more interesting and you have the opportunity to discover wonderful and non-touristy places. Actually, thanks to my first Couchsurfing experience, I went to an amazing lake in Turku (Finland) where I swam with my friends and our host while we watched the sunset.

I love learning everything that is new to me. I also love listening to travelling experiences, which also makes me learn a lot!
I can share with you my memories from my travel experiences, a little bit of healthy nutrition, Spanish and Basque. I can also show you how to prepare a delicious "tortilla de patata" (spanish omelette).
