Hi, my name is Maïder (it is unpronounceable I know...), I am 20 from the southwest of France (Capbreton/Hossegor), but during the school year I am living in Bordeaux for my studies at the University of Bordeaux Montaigne (History studies).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to create a couchsurfing profil because I'm going to live in England (Chester) this year, through the program Erasmus, and this is a program based on exchange just like couchsurfing. Indeed, I think couchesurfing can offer me the opportunity to discover the country where I am going to live while carrying on my Erasmus experience in sharing this with local hostes.

I grew up listening U2, Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones, but I love any music with good lyrics and instrumental .

I am a huge fan of the universes of Tolkien and Harry Potter : movies and books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think all my trips were amazing, but if I have to quote only one it would be the French Polynesia. Indeed I had the chance to go in Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora because my father lived there. I am aware of having visited ones of the most beautiful islands on earth, in the middle of the pacific. It was really enriching because I could see the reality of the life in these islands considered as idyllic
