About Me

Young. On ninth cloud. Artistic. Smiley.
I am living in a cosy little house on the hill, view to the paddy rice fields, with 2 dogs and 5 cats. I live a very slow life, mostly taking care of my own little life as a practice of mindfulness such as gardening, cooking, making art, writing, composing songs, walking, drinking tea with honey,... and yes, having decent conversations with friends and people. I am not originally from Sapa, I move to live here from Ho Chi Minh, choosing this life, learning to live in harmony with my inner world and nature. I am actually hosting a homestay, where travellers pay to stay, to enjoy the authentic lifestyle in the mountain, but I manage to have a spare room and some space for Couch Surfing, as an act of 'giftivism'.

I enjoy making art in various forms. I write poems and songs. I play guitar and ukulele (and learning kalimba). I am writing a series of children book and having them published next year.

I enjoy exchanging stories. "The universe is made of stories, not atoms." -- Muriel Ruykeyser. I believe that by telling and hearing stories we become inspired. Our stories make us unique and exceptional and stories let us share our vision of ourself, our experience, and the world. We always have priority for sharing and connecting with each other, to learn to enjoy this moment together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think life is all about the people we've met, that there's a whole universe inside each person and I have experienced myself the moments when feeling connected to a soul. I am living a slow life in a mountain, and if I have a chance to share those moments with a random wandering soul, it would be so nice
I am running a small homestay, but I spare a room to welcome wandering souls from Couchsurfing. You can consider it as a gift that I am able to give naturally. I believe in 'natural giving', that we all have something to gift the world and people, just by being ourselves, with what we already are abundant of, without the effort of trying to give.
My gift is a space in our house, the slow life we have, the intimacy with the sky, the nearness of the mountains and the solitude that hold the space for you to connect with yourself and nature.

You just need to pay for the meals (ìf you have meals with us) and laundry (if you use the washing machine)
