About Me
Hi! I'm 25 yo Japanese. I live in Berlin, Germany.
I lived in Tokyo for 7 years and was a system engineer, but I moved to Germany in Oct 2017 for a new job. I like the new slow life here.
I live in a single room in an apartment. It's big and I have space enough, but I can't really offer the couch unfortunately because there's no couch literally, and no bed or mattress. If you can bring a sleeping bag and don't mind sleeping on the floor, I host **ONLY GIRLS**. Sorry, it's just to avoid troubles.
I stayed in US for 9 months in '13 and I learned English and culture there. After I improved my English, I got to like meeting new people from various countries even more! So I hope to chill out with as many CSers as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My roommate showed me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The last time I stayed in a place, hosted by Israeli guy in Rome. He was very kind and friendly. I even played a video game with his roommates! We didn't have much time to share the insights or experience, but I sure had great time there, thanks to Couchsurfing!
Besides, I joined in a couple of events in CS and I meet great international people every time :)
Interests
I'm interested in different cultures and thoughts. That's why I like traveling abroad.
My hobby is badminton, yoga, exploring fancy cafes and watching TV.
It changes a lot. Usually I can't stay in one place and do the same things. My recent/new hobby is golf.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: My favorite music is pop, acoustic, and also country. I usually listen to various songs but my favorite singers are Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, Jack Johnson etc.
MOVIES: I recently watch some American drama series, such as White Collar, HIMYM, and LOST. (The last one made me feel flight phobia!!) I watch them for learning English but usually I prefer Japanese dramas, because they're mostly less stressful and easy to watch. lol
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The bus tour held by Green Tortoise Adventure Travel was the most memorable, devastating trip that I've had. I went from SF thru Zion Canyon, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, LV and so on all the way by bus with 20-ish int'l grownups together, just like a school trip. In the tour, I did hiking, camping, riding, gambling...some of them were partly even tough, but all those experiences were sick!
I've been dreaming of joining any of their tours again when I have a certain amount of time and money, ever since I came back from this experience :)
Teach, Learn, Share
When you visit me, I can teach/share you Japanese language and cultures! And if you want me to do so, I'll also introduce my Japanese friends to you as much as possible :)
I believe most people like to learn the different cultures, so meeting new types of people, namely having international friends, is fun, whereas many Japanese don't have the opportunity to meet them and vice versa! So I'd be happy to connect you to my friends!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think I can give some souvenir if he/she wants.
I can tell my past experience that I had not only in Japan, but also in US and Germany.
