Totally new to couchsurfing. I'm a masters student in molecular medicine, which sounds pretty fancy but is actually just pretty down-to-earth scientific research and I love it! Even though I am more or less a scientist, I try not to be that socially awkward. I think, I can get fascinated and inspired by many different things and it doesn't matter if it's biology, cultures or new activities. I like to travel (whenever enough money is available), meet new people and having to get out of your comfort zone once in a while.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best experiences of a country/culture/city you can acquire by getting together with the locals. It is a unique memory you share with someone who really knows their way around. I feel like there are a number of really interesting people on here and I would love to get to know a few of them and learn about different views, lifestyles and goals.
