ABOUT ME...

I am born in Berlin, went to school in Berlin and...surprise...study in Berlin. It may sound like a narrow perspective and indeed it is. But I am quite happy with it, as this includes meeting the most respectful, open minded, wild, weird people in the world. From time to time I get tired of the big city life and find real peace by strolling around in nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it simply is best practice for poor students like me that want to see, feel and understand a place the way it really is.
I have hosted many friends of friends of friends at my flat and did it the other way around. I just love this way of traveling.

Interests

Outside activities like running, mountain biking and mostly hiking!
My favorite game is cop. With beer you can easily turn this into flunky ball. How convenient!
When I am not studying my real passion, which is actually what I study I am singing in a choir and learn playing guitar.
I started to go geocashing recently! this is so much fun! And of course traveling is one of the things that I couldn't stand missing in my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music...

Changes constantly and often is dependent on the people I hang out with. I love exploring music and find myself spending hours in front of youtube.
It is impossible to cut this down to a few. Some of my current favorites so far would probably be: Cat Empire, Beirut, Kings of convenience, Yakoto, The XX aaaand of course IL CIVETTO (which is the cooooolest Band in Berlin ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped from a cliff that was about 8 meter high and was proud as hell afterwards! Also, I went on a glacier tour on the Fox Glacier in New Zealand and hiked the Kepler Track in 2 days. Some of the most fascinating things I've seen so far.

I love exploring new dishes. And I am very quick at washing the dishes. I even won a contest against my flatmates ones.
